Guide Bettane et Desseauve 2014: Des parfums de fruits noirs (2010 est fruits rouges), une concentration intense, on croque dans une bouche dense et charnue.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (David Schildknecht, juin 2013): Foillard?s 2009 Fleurie reveals some analogous berry distillate and pitch-like volatile notes to its similarly late-released Morgon ?Pi? counterpart and was tasted by me only now, alongside other of his wines from 2011. Here the berries in question are darker ? blueberry and huckleberry ? and lend a bitter-tart bite to a wine already marked by rather grainy tannins. The complexity as well as the sheer brightness and penetration of the corresponding Morgon aren?t equaled, but there are seedy invigoration and satisfying juiciness to its persistent finish. I would be inclined to drink this before the close of 2015, but risk-takers with low-temperature storage decide to test its author?s belief that its best days are at least 3-4 years down the proverbial pike.
