Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (Jeb Dunnuck, Déc. 2013) : In the same mold, the 2012 Saint Joseph comes from the northern part of the appellation, up near Condrieu. First produced in 2008, and aged in 20% new French oak, it offers meaty, mineral-driven aromas of graphite, pepper, crushed rock and assorted dark berry fruit. This flows to a medium to full-bodied wine that has loads of fruit, a mouth filling textured and the hallmark purity and focus of this estate. Drink it over the coming decade.
