Domaine Philippe Alliet Chinon blanc 2024


Technical sheet written by the domaine:

Grape variety: 100% chenin
 
Terroirs: Small plot of less than 1 hectare on a clay, silica, and limestone slope.

Harvest: Manual harvest.

Vinification: blocked malolactic fermentation to retain the freshness of the chenin, with aging in 500-liter demi-muids, one-third new.

New feature with the 2023 vintage, the pruning was less strict than before to "free" the vine, and the result has been particularly promising, with aromatic and well-fresh wines, superior to previous vintages. This pruning method will therefore be adopted for future vintages!
