La Revue du Vin de France (April 2025): 91/100. Great precision of style for this ripe chenin in this challenging vintage. The purity, the exotic note, beautiful bitterness chiseling the finish. The most ambitious white from Chinon.

Technical sheet written by the domaine:

Grape variety: 100% chenin

Terroirs: Small plot of less than 1 hectare on a slope of clay, silica, and limestone.

Harvest: Manual harvest.

Vinification: blocked malolactic fermentation to keep the chenin vibrant, with aging in 500-liter demi-muids, one-third new.

New feature with the 2023 vintage, the pruning was less strict than before to "free" the vine, and the result has been particularly successful, with aromatic and well-fresh wines, superior to previous vintages. This pruning method will therefore be adopted for future vintages!
