Burgundy Wine Region

The World's Most Prestigious Wine Region

Burgundy is home to some of the most sought-after wines in the world. From the mineral-driven Chablis wines of northern Burgundy to the legendary Pinot Noirs of the Côte de Nuits and the great Chardonnays of the Côte de Beaune, Burgundy offers an unrivalled diversity of terroirs and appellations.

Discover our selection of Grand Cru, Premier Cru and Village Burgundy wines, carefully chosen from the region's finest domaines and stored in ideal conditions before delivery.

The uniqueness of Burgundy lies in its climats, individual vineyard sites whose specific soils, exposures and microclimates give each wine its own distinctive identity. Since 2015, the Climats of Burgundy have been recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Chablis

Located in northern Burgundy, Chablis is one of the world's benchmark regions for Chardonnay. Its limestone-rich soils produce wines renowned for their freshness, precision and mineral character, from Petit Chablis to the prestigious Chablis Grand Cru vineyards.

The Côte de Nuits

The Côte de Nuits is the spiritual home of Pinot Noir and many of Burgundy's most famous Grand Crus, including Romanée-Conti, Chambertin, Musigny and Clos de Vougeot. Its wines are celebrated for their complexity, elegance and exceptional ageing potential.

The Côte de Beaune

Further south, the Côte de Beaune produces both outstanding red and white wines. It is particularly renowned for legendary white wine appellations such as Montrachet, Chevalier-Montrachet, Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet.

The Côte Chalonnaise

The Côte Chalonnaise offers remarkable value and authenticity through appellations such as Mercurey, Givry, Rully, Bouzeron and Montagny. These wines combine the character of Burgundy with greater accessibility.

The Mâconnais

Dominated by Chardonnay, the Mâconnais has become one of Burgundy's most exciting regions. Appellations such as Pouilly-Fuissé, Saint-Véran and Viré-Clessé produce expressive white wines that combine richness, freshness and outstanding value.

The Leading Domaines of Burgundy

Our selection highlights some of Burgundy's most respected producers, from iconic historic estates to a new generation of talented winemakers. Whether you are looking for a collectible Grand Cru, a refined Premier Cru or an outstanding Village wine, our range showcases the very best of Burgundy.

Consistency of quality after the enormous favorite that won the unanimous approval of the tasters at Vignerons d'Exception during the discovery of this wine in its 2020 vintage. Since then, the quality has been of indecent regularity!

Each cuvée from the domaine Jacqueson has impressed us, we have selected almost all of them! Beware of the 2024 vintage, which seems quite closed upon its release at the end of 2025. We will have to wait at least until the summer of 2026 to taste the first bottle, if not longer. Fortunately, the sumptuous 2022 and 2023 vintages are still available for...

A delicious Rully, even when young! Perhaps with the exception of the 2024 vintage, which seems quite closed upon its release in late 2025. We will have to wait at least until the summer of 2026 to taste the first bottle, if not longer. Fortunately, the sumptuous 2022 and 2023 (chaponnières) remain for fans of this cuvée who want it for Christmas 2025!

Three Rully (including two 1er Crus) + three Mercurey (including two 1er Crus). There's nothing like discovering the diversity of cuvées and the talent of Marie Jacqueson, whose ability to produce great bottles in all weather conditions is impressive. AOPs considered "minor" in terms of price, but major when Marie Jacqueson gets involved. The result:...

Each vintage is excellent, each in its own style, and that's what we love about Renaud Chandioux. A flawless performance for this cuvée since it has been in our catalog for 10 years!

When we talk about Pinot Noir of Burgundy, it's not just the big names Nuits Saint Georges, Volnay, Pommard, Chambolle musigny, Gevrey Chambertin, etc. Discover less known terroirs, with the assurance of quality thanks to the signature of the best winemakers.

We had a real crush on this 100% Chardonnay from Burgundy from the modest Vézelay appellation. Perfectly vinified and organic to boot, its pleasure/price ratio is impressive. Do you know many good white Chardonnays from Burgundy with AOP status for €17?

One of the great parcel cuvées from this confidential domaine (1.3 ha for this wine) expertly managed by the Dananchet brothers. It comes from old vines of 80 years, carefully tended and vinified according to the rules of the art (organic). It is no coincidence that this unique climate of Clessé gave its name to the family domaine!

We can't believe that the cuvée of prestige from a domaine in Burgundy costs €19. Yet, this is the case here, with a superb organic parcel chardonnay from the modest AOP Vézelay. The price has significantly decreased from 2022, which was indeed a bit higher and with an extra year of aging, demonstrating how grounded the winemaker is during this crisis in...

Sylvain Pataille gives nobility to the "poor cousin" grape of Burgundy. Here is his "little" aligoté, already superb. There are also the "greats," from very old plots. A must-taste to see what the aligoté grape can REALLY produce when mastered to perfection by a meticulous winemaker who is also an exceptional technician.

92/100 RVF. A Givry 1er cru that is broader than "Petit Marole," yet remains refreshing and pure. If tasted in its youth (but please save some for a few years :-) decant at least an hour beforehand for well-deserved aeration!

Pinots that are around thirty years old on clay-limestone soil, a great Burgundian classic very much characterized by red fruits, in a beautiful vintage perfectly balanced, which can already be enjoyed starting in 2025, if possible before the rich 2022 (which we still have to wait for in 2025). 92/100 RVF

The "signature" cuvée of the domaine, a discreet aging in oak barrels and above all a Great Burgundy, made from chardonnays planted almost 100 years ago by... Claude Seigneuret :-) It is thanks to this cuvée that the domaine was selected in our range. Very good value for money (increasingly rare in Burgundy).

One of the entry-level wines from the domaine, a lovely Mâcon Villages made from organic chardonnays located in Igé. Organic chardonnays situated in Igé. A bit too young just after bottling in early 2026, right at the end of its aging in barrels. For optimal tasting in 2026, prefer the 2023 or 2022 vintages!

The Great Wine for aging from the domaine, which closely follows the more prestigious appellations of the Côte de Beaune located a few kilometers further north. WARNING, 2022 is the last vintage produced, the lands had been leased for decades and are no longer farmed by Pierre and Marie Jacquesson.
