Domaine d'Ouréa, Adrien Roustan
Located in the southern Rhône Valley in Vacqueyras, Domaine d'Ouréa was created by Adrien Roustan in 2009. It now covers 20 hectares spread between Vacqueyras and Gigondas.
The winemaker, Adrien Roustan took over the family vineyards after studying wine and various experiences in Burgundy and California.
Working with respect for nature was an obvious choice for him. From the beginning, he converted his entire vineyard to organic farming and obtained certification in 2012.
It is in homage to his highest plot of Gigondas, located on the southern slope of the Dentelles de Montmirail that he named his vineyard, Domaine d'Ouréa, God of the mountains in Greek mythology.
Artistic, elegant and light wines. This is in a few words what the domain offers us. The 20 hectares of vines are spread over 18 parcels, 4 distinct terroirs and 4 appellations: AOP Gigondas, AOP Vacqueyras, AOP Côtes du Rhône and IGP Vaucluse.
