Domaine Peyre Rose Languedoc "Marlène N°3" red 2009

RVF Guide to the Best Wines of France 2020 (Oct 2019): 16/20. Marlène N°3 takes time to reveal itself with a beautiful peppery power. Among the red trio, it is the most immediate wine with a lovely evolution that calls for some spices at the table.

Bettane + Desseauve Guide 2020 (Dec 2019): 17.5/20. A tense palate that develops a bit more structure than the other two cuvées, with the same aromas and an added floral note of peony combined with Havana. It needs time, but it is the cuvée that often evolves the best.
