May 2026: the 2016 vintage has arrived! The cuvée has been named "Belle Léone" since 2011 instead of "Syrah Léone," under the Vin de France designation rather than "Coteaux du Languedoc." Indeed, the winemaker did not like the new "Languedoc" appellation, which replaced "Coteaux du Languedoc" in 2011. Therefore, having chosen "Vin de France," she is no longer allowed to indicate a grape variety on her label. One of our regulations that makes foreigners laugh! No worries, neither the winemaker, nor the vines, nor the wine are changing; it’s still just as good!
