Domaine Peyre Rose "Les Cistes" red 2016
May 2026: the 2016 vintage has arrived. Since 2011, the cuvée has been called "Les Cistes" instead of "Clos des Cistes," under the Vin de France designation rather than "Coteaux du Languedoc." Indeed, the winemaker did not like the new designation "Languedoc" (plain), which replaced "Coteaux du Languedoc" in 2011, so having chosen "Vin de France," she can no longer indicate the word "Clos" on her label. One of our regulations that makes foreigners laugh! No worries, neither the winemaker, nor the vines, nor the wine are changing; it’s still just as good!
