End of April 2025: the 2015 vintage has arrived. Since 2011, the cuvée has been called "Les Cistes" instead of "Clos des Cistes," under the Vin de France designation and not "Coteaux du Languedoc." Indeed, the winemaker did not like the new "Languedoc" appellation, which replaced "Coteaux du Languedoc" in 2011, so by choosing "Vin de France," she can no longer indicate the word "Clos" on her label. One of our regulations that makes foreigners laugh! No worries, neither the winemaker, nor the vines, nor the wine are changing; it’s still just as good!

RVF Guide to the Best Wines of France 2026 (Sept 2025): 95/100. For the cuvée Les Cistes, our preference goes to the 2015 with its prominent southern tannins.
