Our favorite white from this discreet domaine in Saumur with low yields, superb quality, and Chenins of exceptional purity and richness. After a trial of extended aging (2020), all the Jurassic wines from this 2022 vintage (inclusive) are now aged in demi-muids + clay jars. What finesse!

Cuvée experimental, 100% Sauvignon, by Valentin Desloges (Les Quatre piliers): The parcel in question, 4 hectares of very beautiful sands that soften the Sauvignon to the extreme, was only acquired in 2023, after this very conclusive winemaking test of 2022. Slightly sparkling wine.

91+/100 Castaing/Parker. Magnificent sauvignon with aromas of candied orange, pastry, followed by fresher notes of pineapple, passion fruit, and verbena upon aeration. A superb second vintage that remains very fresh, crafted by Valentin Desloges, who has just completed his apprenticeship at domaine Coche-Dury in Meursault, Burgundy.
