Domaine Chapelle Santenay red 1er cru "La Comme" 2022

Very intense black cherry color, violet reflections, brilliant wine. Very floral nose, with peony, followed by dark fruits. The
palate is dense and complex, with a beautiful mid-palate and a persistent finish. A beautiful wine for aging to be enjoyed in the next 10 years.

Grape variety: 100% pinot noir

Planting date: 1966

Density of vines / ha: 10,000

Exposure: East, North-East, at the foot of the slopes.

Soil type: Bajocian clay-limestone, with sediments in the lower part.

Vineyard management: Mechanical soil work to avoid the use of herbicides, emphasizing the natural balance of the plant within each plot. Organic phytosanitary management, controlled by Bureau Véritas.

Harvest method: Manual

Vinification and aging: Whole-cluster harvest, followed by a 4-day pre-fermentation maceration and an 8-day fermentation. Aging for 11 months in barrels (25% new). Then bottled without fining or filtration.
