The elegance of organic pinot noir vinified by JC Rateau shines perfectly in this AOP "Hautes Côtes de Beaune," which is unfortunately quite underrated... and consequently, the prices haven't skyrocketed :-)

The 100% Mourvèdre from Xavier Braujou, aged for 12 months in barrels, always in the velvety style of Xavier Braujou, favoring finesse over rusticity.

The cuvée signature of the domaine, more structured than the cuvée "Esprit" but still in a silky and velvety style, with a aging potential of at least 5 years. An impressive pleasure/price ratio when you consider that most good winemakers in the area sell their "small" cuvée at the price of this prestigious cuvée!

“The other white from Burgundy” is how the Bret Brothers present this brand new cuvée from the vines acquired in 2016. It is a micro-production made from aligotés facing full East, at the foot of the Roche de Vergisson. For the Bret brothers, "Zen" refers to "vinification without sulfites, just a tiny bit at bottling."

The cuvée de prestige of the domaine, in white, named after the winemaker's son. Like him, this cuvée is simply magnificent! To be enjoyed from 2025, but with a great future ahead if one decides to forget it for a few years in a good cellar. Restocked the last available boxes at the domaine in February 2026.

The other "little" Côtes du Rhône from Stéphane Ogier, primarily Grenache to change from the illustrious "Syrah d'Ogier." The quality-price ratio becomes indecent, but don't expect a "little" light Côtes du Rhône... This is truly a superb southern Rhône, which can be kept for 5 to 10 years in large format.

This beautiful black Gamay from the Mâconnais region comes from the village of Burgy. With a lovely ruby color and a nose of garrigue, it is a fruity yet spicy red wine, extremely seductive right from its release, with great potential for improvement by 2024, for at least one or even two years minimum.

This cuvée - part of which was previously in AOP St Joseph - has become the emblem of Christophe Curtat's expertise. A bottle that has become essential for any syrah enthusiast!

Gosset ranked 8th best Champagne house (ahead of Billecart-Salmon 9th, Deutz 12th, Ruinart 18th, Taittinger 19th, Moët & Chandon 22nd, Laurent-Perrier, Veuve Clicquot, Mumm, Pommery, etc. The top trio being Krug-Roederer-Jacquesson) by RVF (n°686) in 2024. 92/100 RVF. "A rosé with a high proportion of Chardonnays to be equally enjoyable as an aperitif...

The children of Pierre-Jean Villa are beginning to take over the domaine family business, and it's worth a visit... They started with this "little" Crozes, sourcing grapes from estates that their father has been monitoring and advising for a long time...

Favorite and 94/100 RVF. It will age advantageously for a few years, but it is not a crime to taste it right after its release from the domaine (where it has already mellowed for some time since bottling), in the autumn of 2024. There are tannins, of course, but already all in softness, a delight.

This cuvée comes from the best terroirs of the estate. Made from the grape varieties Clairette, Bourboulenc, and Ugni blanc, this southern white is already good in 2024. It develops very mineral notes on the freshness with a beautiful aromatic expression of citrus and white flowers.

February 2026: Yet another great vintage from Gandines, unfortunately, 2024 is very low yielding. We won't have it all year. Viré-Clessé is definitely a too little-known AOP when you see the quality of the wines from this domaine of Gandines that showcases it so well!
