Grape variety: Côt also known as Malbec

Vines: The vines are aged 65 to 120 years, (25% planted in 1891 / 75% planted in 1950) the soil is clay-siliceous. The yields are 25 hectoliters per hectare. The area of the plot is 1 hectare, thus an average of 3300 bottles produced.

Vinification: This wine is vinified using carbonic maceration, which means that the whole bunches are placed in the tank. This results in intracellular fermentation that preserves the fruity aromas. This wine is aged for 1 year in a truncated wooden vat.

Soils: Clay-Siliceous

Food and wine pairing: It will perfectly accompany your red meats and grilled dishes.

To be enjoyed at room temperature.

Tasting comment: Nose of violets and cooked fruits. The color is very deep. The palate is rich, with silky tannins.
