Domaine Rostaing Côte-Rôtie "Ampodium" red 2020
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (Joe Czerwinski, January 2022) : 91-93/100. Pierre Rostaing has been shortening the maceration for this cuvée, and the 2020 Cote Rotie Ampodium received closer to three weeks on the skins than four. It's still impressively dark and rich, with scents of black olives, violets, raspberries and a touch of orange zest. Medium to full-bodied and velvety in feel, it looks like a strong year for the estate's blended wine. Drink date 2023-2032.

The cuvée Ampodium is surely the most accessible Côte Rôtie from the domaine, sourced from vines located in 13 different lieux-dits, adding a lot of complexity to the final blend.
Pierre Rostaing recommends pairing it with white meats, poultry, or white fish.
