RVF Guide to the Best Wines of France 2025 (Sept. 2024): 93/100. In red, Les Calcinaires is fine, delicate, infused, and juicy, offering evident indulgence and great floral charm.

Appellation : IGP Côtes Catalanes
Grapes: Syrah, Mourvèdre, Grenache, Carignan.
Terroir: limestone, clay-limestone, schist, rolled pebbles.
Vines: from 5 to 90 years. Organic farming and polyculture.
Harvest: manual with sorting in the vineyard and at the cellar.
Vinification: Traditional in concrete tank. Whole-cluster maceration. Indigenous yeasts, no additives. Gentle pressing adapted to the vintage and terroir.
Aging: 8 months of aging in concrete tank and old foudres.
Bottling: by gravity, without fining or filtration.
