RVF Guide to the Best Wines of France 2025 (Sept. 2024): favorite and 95/100. Vieilles Vignes 2022 is smokier and spicier, with a fleshy texture and an extremely fine grain. Another favorite!

Appellation: IGP Côtes Catalanes
Terroir: limestone and schist
Grapes: Carignan, Mourvèdre, Syrah.
Yields: 18 hl / ha
Harvest: manual in the vineyard and at the winery
Vine: 30 to 120 years old. Organic farming and polyculture.
Vinification: traditional vinification in concrete tanks. Whole-cluster maceration for up to 10 days. Indigenous yeasts. Gentle pressing adapted to the vintage and terroir.
Aging: 10 months of aging in 500L barrels, large casks, and concrete tanks. 7 months in bottle at the domaine.
Bottling: By gravity, without fining or filtration.
