One of the great cuvées from this confidential domaine (1.3 ha for this wine) expertly managed by the Dananchet brothers. It comes from old vines of 80 years, meticulously tended and vinified according to the rules of the art (organic). It is no coincidence that this unique climate of Clessé gave its name to the family domaine! Straight out of the cellars...

The great cuvée of the domaine, a tribute to the founder Joseph who was a zouave. It comes from the oldest vignes of the domaine (70 to 100 years old, undoubtedly the oldest syrahs of the appellation). It is a structured cuvée, very concentrated (but less so than the 2020 and 2022 if you are collecting them), and already impressive in 2024... for at least...

50% cabernet franc, 50% cabernet sauvignon for 100% pleasure! This magical blend is not a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, but it could almost be, given its beautiful aging potential. Well-present tannins that are velvety, perfectly ripe fruit, and an aging "with great care" (a figure of speech, of course :-) make it a very fine cuvée for aging, still very young...

Are you looking for the best in the Saint-Pourçain appellation, so 100% tressallier grape? Look no further, here is the nec plus ultra crafted by the best domaine in the appellation. Simply put! Of course, we are in France, it would have required a grape other than tressallier to have the AOP Saint-Pourçain... which mandates a blend of several grape...

90/100 RVF. The great cuvée in red from this famous domaine des Gandines impresses us a little more with each new vintage. The Dananchet brothers are doing wonders with their family domaine (and a lot of work!). An elegant pinot noir from southern Burgundy, with beautiful soft and silky tannins and a lovely aromatic expression. Very successful in 2022.

90/100 RVF. The winemaker speaks best of it: "A cuvée full of finesse, both fruity and ripe, round and lively...". In short, after the "little fruity reds" from the domaine ("Hors Champs", "Amalgame"...), we are getting serious. This Minervois delivers on all its promises of structure and complexity, at a particularly decent price for this very beautiful...

Laurent Combier pays particular attention to his "entry-level" wine, the famous cuvée with the purple label (like the characteristic aroma of syrah ;-) that bears his name. Half of it is aged in oval tanks to keep the lees in suspension, enhancing the fruit of the syrah. This cuvée has become a great classic. Released from the cellars of the domaine in...

This beautiful black Gamay from the Mâconnais region comes from the village of Burgy. With a lovely ruby color and a nose of garrigue, it is a fruity yet spicy red wine, extremely seductive right from its release, with great potential for improvement by 2024, for at least one or even two years minimum.

No, it's not just Tempier, Terrebrune, or Trévallon! Peter Fischer and now his children, with their winemaking expertise combined with exceptional experience of their terroirs, are also establishing themselves as greats of the south.

With "Granite", "Orthogneiss", named after its soil, is our other very fine Muscadet for aging, always crafted in biodynamics by the great Fred Niger, as he has been for several decades.

The domaine offers us a new definition of chenin, marked by maceration, which expresses itself, among other things, through notes of citrus peels. A cuvée not to be tasted by just anyone, as it is quite surprising... As its name suggests, this so-called "orange" wine results from prolonged contact between the grape skin and the juice, hence this...
