The other "little" Côtes du Rhône from Stéphane Ogier, primarily Grenache to differ from the illustrious "Syrah d'Ogier". The quality-price ratio becomes indecent, but don't expect a light "little" Côtes du Rhône... This is truly a superb southern Rhône that can be kept for 5 years.

Vineyard area: 7 Ha.
Production: 35,000 bottles.
Grape variety: 60% Grenache, 40% Syrah and Mourvèdre.
Vine age: 30 to 50 years.
Planting density: 7,000 vines/ha.
Terroir: Limestone pebbles on blue clay.
Location: Violès (between Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Gigondas).
Harvest: Manual. Sorting in the vineyard and sorting table at the entrance of the winery.
Vinification: Whole harvest in thermo-regulated concrete tanks. Indigenous yeasts.
Aging: 10 months in concrete tank.
Aging potential: 5 / 8 years.
