+ ALL HIS OTHER CUVEES IN STOCK

Presentation of this custom mixed case of 9 bottles written by the winemaker:

"On certain precious years, I preserve the memory of unique plots by keeping a part of every blend. This selection, from my best lieux-dits, invites you to discover the subtlety and purity of these incomparable plots. In an exceptional vintage, an exceptional selection..."

But De Mont, Fongeant, Côte-Bodin, Cognet, Bertholon, Montmain, La Viallière, Le Champon, and Leyat are the 9 terroirs vinified separately in 2020, to be discovered in this unique mixed case.

"In addition to the parcel selections from his classic range, Stéphane creates a unique range from his selection of lieux-dits. There are very few things as inspiring and enriching as tasting through these rare and unique lieux-dits. This is an edition with very limited quantities, so don't miss your chance to taste these exceptional bottles." Jeb Dunnuck

Viallière 2020: 96+/100 (Jeb Dunnuck*) One of the cuvées The most mineral, the Côte-Rôtie La Viallière 2020 offers an aromatic framework of red and black fruits along with floral notes of violet and rose, following the typical profile of a Côte-Rôtie with fleshy nuances. Tannic, vibrant, and straight with perfect balance and plenty of density. It will need 4-5 years of bottle aging and will evolve over the next two decades. MATURITY: 2028-2049.

Montmain 2020:
95/100 (Jeb Dunnuck*) Like the Cognet, the Côte-Rôtie Montmain 2020 comes from a bridge in the northern part of the appellation and is fermented with its stems. It is not far from the style of Cognet but reveals itself to be even more floral and elegant. Black raspberries, iron, and old flowers present themselves on the nose. The palate is elegant and silky with ultra-fine tannins. This Côte-Rôtie will offer a beautiful tasting experience over the next 15-20 years. MATURITY: 2024-2044.

Bertholon 2020:
96/100 (Jeb Dunnuck*) : The parcel from which the Côte-Rôtie Bertholon 2020 originates contains a lot of clay in its mica schists. Fermented with its stems, it offers a magnificent aromatic profile centered around smoky black fruits, tapenade, and iron, with a beautiful structure that is rich, powerful, and full-bodied. This Côte-Rôtie will need some time to mature in the bottle but already shows its great potential.
MATURITY: 2028-2050.

Côte Bodin 2020:
94/100 (Jeb Dunnuck*) : Coming from a plot located further south of La Landonne, the Côte-Rôtie Côte-Bodin 2020, following the style of a Côte Blonde, offers a very floral and fruity aromatic profile ranging from red fruits (strawberries, raspberries) to violet and rose petals. Notes of tapenade, iron, and spices also emerge. It is a medium to full-bodied wine with beautiful acidity and soft tannins, in the Burgundian style. MATURITY: 2024-2044.

But De Mont 2020:

98/100 (Jeb Dunnuck*) : It is the only wine from Côte-Blonde in the Selection Lieux-Dits case, the Côte-Rôtie But de Mont has an incredible style, with wonderful complexity, depth, and structure. Black raspberries, red currants, grilled meats, graphite, and some meaty notes define the aromatic profile of this wine. cuvée. The palate is concentrated and opulent with a long finish. It is certainly the most
tasted on this lieu-dit. It is not easy to take your hands off the bottle, but ideally, we can still give it 4-5 years of aging, and it can be enjoyed over the next two decades.
MATURITY: 2028-2049.

Fongeant 2020: 99/100 (Jeb Dunnuck*) : A truly divine juice, the Côte-Rôtie Fongeant 2020 offers a unique bouquet of darker currants, white truffle, rare steak, and a hint of iron. The result is a full-bodied, ample, and flawlessly structured Côte-Rôtie, endowed with fabulous tannins and incredible length. It is a rather rare blend of power and elegance that makes the wine complex. This gem must be tasted to be believed. Hide a few bottles for at least 4-5 years, and you will feel fortunate to enjoy them over the next 20 years. MATURITY: 2028-2050.

Cognet 2020: 95/100 (Jeb Dunnuck*) :
Coming from a lieu-dit in the northern part of the appellation and fermented with a lot of stems, the Côte-Rôtie Cognet 2020 offers a classic bouquet of currants, blackberries, as well as dried meats, leather, iron, and yeast. This rich Côte-Rôtie, with a medium to full body, features fine yet well-structured tannins and a superb finish on the palate. Give it a few years before consuming. It will evolve.
easily for two decades.
MATURITY: 2026-2040.

Le Champon 2020: 97/100 (Jeb Dunnuck*) : Coming from the plot that is always harvested last, the Côte-Rôtie Le Champon 2020 was fermented with the stems and, like most Côte-Rôties, aged in demi-muids. It is a cuvée of incredible elegance that showcases aromas of black fruits, iron, black olive, and truffle with a hint of floral notes. Full-bodied, structured, and flawless, it offers a finely tuned acidity, soft tannins, and a
beautiful finish on the palate. Concentrated and tight, it will need bottle aging to reveal its true potential.
MATURITY: 2028-2049.

Leyat 2020:
97/100 (Jeb Dunnuck*) : Situated just above Côte-Bodin (near Fongeant), the Côte-Rôtie Leyat 2020 showcases a rich and incredibly fruity profile, featuring blackberry and currant, tons of graphite, notes of burnt earth, and fleshy nuances. A full-bodied wine with a powerful mouthfeel that has enough structure to warrant bottle aging of at least 4-5 years. MATURITY: After 2028.
