Domaine Sant Armettu "elegante" red 2019

Guide RVF of Best Wines of France 2022 (Sept. 2021): 91/100. Fragrant and floral Grenache, Elegante offers freshness and great delicacy of texture. A medium-bodied wine, but so easy to drink!

La Revue du Vin de France (Corsica. Succumb to the island beauties - J-E Simond - June 2021): 92/100. Light ruby color; faded rose scent; delightful and charming juice, easy to drink, finely tangy and mentholated, held by small savory tannins. A lot of seduction in this plump and unadorned Grenache.

TERROIR: The slopes of the Gulf of Propriano composed of granitic sands.

GRAPE VARIETY: 100% Grenache.

HARVEST: Destemmed and sorted, cold pre-fermentation maceration between 12-16°C, light punching down then traditional vinification in large cask.

AGING: 12 months in ½ muid.

COLOR: Cherry color.

TASTING: The purity of the fruity aromas blends with juicy and velvety tannins. This straightforward and gourmet wine will be appreciated during chic lunches for discerning audiences.
