RVF Guide to the Best Wines of France 2024  (August 2023): 94/100. "In 2008, Clos des Cistes expresses notes of licorice and aromatic herbs. It has benefited from a long aging and seems more settled again."

La Revue du Vin de France (Dec. 2019): 18/20. Emphatic and loquacious, yet eminently refined, Marlène Soria's style is very recognizable. Intense, complex, this wine displays a depth of flavor far superior to anything we have tasted so far. The texture is still anchored in its tannins, but the notes of cedar and garrigue woven into the structure are superb.

RVF Guide to the Best Wines of France 2019 (August 2018): 17/20. The 2008 vintage is very promising. Clos des Cistes presents notes of clove and nutmeg, its richness is integrated into velvety tannins.

Bettane + Desseauve Guide 2019 (August 2018): 17.5/20. Always that unique magic of Peyre-Rose from the first nose with in 2008 a slight air exposure. The finish is enchanting, mocha, cocoa, licorice, Havana, with incredible persistence. Peak from 2018 to 2028
