Our comments: The "little" Meursault by Romaric Chavy claims more the citrus tension of the Chardonnay than the richness brought by the terroir combined with the aging in new barrels, rather reserved for the longer aging wines of the domaine, such as the 1er crus "Les Charmes" or even the Puligny (village or Premier Cru). This Narvaux 2024 will gain in complexity (aromatic and organoleptic) over time.

Les Narvaux in Meursault are located at the top of the slope, very steep, the soil is limestone and shallow.

Soil: clay-limestone, very steep

Aging: 20% new barrels, aged for 12 months

Tasting notes: Les Narvaux is an airy, lively, and balanced wine with aromas of white fruits, a nose of roasted almond, and great length on the palate. Mineral and energetic, it will require a few years of cellaring to fully open up.
