The "Chanlins" are located above and next to the "Rugiens", closer to Volnay than to Pommard. This ideally situated plot is very steep and rocky. It produces a mineral and tense wine with refined tannins and great nobility. This wine requires a few years in the bottle to mature, although its aromas of black and red fruits, velvety and fresh, are enjoyable in their youth.

Every action we take throughout the year aims solely to produce quality wines. These ambitions require us to be very attentive and careful with our vines. We therefore implement qualitative methods that lead us to manually tend to each vine up to 12 times in a year.

Aging: 20% new barrels, aging for 10 months

Tasting notes: Its aromas of red fruits, velvety and fresh, make it a charming wine, but its power will require 3 years in the cellar to mature.
