Our comments : The "little" Meursault from Romaric Chavy emphasizes the citrus tension of the chardonnay more than the richness brought by the terroir combined with aging in new barrels, which is rather reserved for the longer-lived wines of the domaine, the 1er crus "Les Charmes" or even the Puligny (village or Premier Cru). This Narvaux 2018 will gain complexity (aromatic and organoleptic) over time.

Les Narvaux in Meursault are located right at the top of the slope, very steep, the soil there is limestone and shallow.

Tasting notes : Les Narvaux is an airy, lively, and balanced wine with aromas of white fruits, a nose of toasted almond, and a great length on the palate. Mineral and energetic, it will require a few years in the cellar to fully open up.
