Domaine Aurélien Chatagnier Côte-Rôtie Red 2023
Technical sheet written by the domaine:
A vine of one-fifth of a hectare, 100% Syrah aged 10 to 15 years, on schist in the commune of Ampuis (Côte Brune), in the very beautiful Rozier and Brocarde sectors.
Vinification: Manual harvesting, total destemming, fermentation with natural yeasts, 1 pumping over per day, then hot maceration (30-32°C). Malolactic fermentation in barrels.
Aging: 1 year in barrels, two-thirds new.
