Winemaker's comment: For this cuvée, I aimed to combine finesse and elegance. Zélée is a wine for aging with fine and elegant tannins.

Grape variety: Syrah

Blend: 100% syrah from several plots of old vines, around thirty years old, across 3 municipalities: Ardoix, Charnas, Limony. They are located on granite soils, facing south/southeast.

Aging: For this year, there are 90% new barrels. "It just happens to be this way this year, but it could change from year to year" says the winemaker.
