This Vacqueyras is "deliberately declassified" by the winemaker who has so much respect for his AOP Vacqueyras that he does not dare to include the fruit from his young vines (less than 15 years old, mostly syrah). Therefore, this is much more than a "simple Côtes du Rhône," very indulgent, which we recommend to those who appreciate elegance over rusticity.

La Revue du Vin de France (R. Petronio, July-August 2025) "Tour de France of amazing bottles under €15": 90/100. It has aromas of fig leaf and green fig, an aromatic freshness that echoes an intense and flavorful juice; the 70% Syrah gives it a northern character. A success.

Terroir: Young vines (less than 15 years old) located in the Vacqueyras appellation area, folded into Côtes du Rhône.

Grapes: 70% Syrah, 30% Grenache.

Vinification: Destemmed harvest, followed by a short infusion.

Tasting notes: This cuvée is a wine of fruit and terroir, the link between the other cuvées of the Domaine. A delightful wine, a subtle blend of sweet spices and violet.

Service & Pairing: Serve at 15°C with a lamb navarin or a roasted turkey with chestnuts.
