This is the great cuvée of prestige from the domaine, named after a local aristocracy figure, the godfather whose name it bears. The best grapes and the best aging (barrels made from oaks of the famous Tronçais forest) for this cuvée which is both round and fresh, in short, perfectly balanced. 91/100 RVF. A cuvée 100% gamay from a granitic terroir that expresses itself through minerality. Much more than just a simple fruit wine, it is a very fine red wine with a beautiful structure, well balanced in 2022, which will allow it to refine over the next few years in a great cellar. It is beginning to open up at the dawn of summer 2023.
