This is the great cuvée of prestige from the domaine, named after a local aristocracy figure, the godfather whose name it bears. The best grapes and the best aging (barrels made from oaks of the famous Tronçais forest) for this cuvée which is both round and fresh, in short, perfectly balanced. Especially in 2024, a vintage that is not very productive but of very high quality, particularly in terms of fruit/tension balance.

This wine is sponsored by His Serene Highness Prince Charles-Henri de LOBKOWICZ, named after his father Edouard, a Prince from Bohemia. Charles-Henri de Lobkowicz is a figure of the local Bourbon aristocracy (his mother is Princess of Bourbon-Parma) and has - among other privileges - his own cuvée and label, in what is one of the best wine estates in his region.

Grape variety(ies): 70% Chardonnay and 30% Tressallier

Terroir: clay-limestone

Vinification: Low-pressure pressing to obtain quality juices.
Static cold settling for 15h at 7° and barreling by gravity.
Vinified in barrels from the Tronçais forest, with aging of at least 15 months.
