Comment from the domaine: The vines have been interplanted with white grape varieties and a few reds as well. Two years ago, we also replanted muscats, grenaches gris, blancs, and noirs, picpoul, and cinsault. The color of the wine comes from this nuance of red grape varieties: this pale pink comes directly from nature and not from technique.

Comment from the domaine on the vintage: The 2022s are starting to take shape in the cellar, and we are discovering charming wines, emerging from a vintage that was so challenging for the vines, from which beautiful energetic and fine textures ultimately emanate.


Technical Sheet written by the domaine:

In 2008, we purchased a small century-old plot planted with nearly 15 different grape varieties. Whites, gris, and noirs coexist, including many forgotten old grape varieties.
We chose to push the blending to the limit, harvesting the plot all at once to work it like a white. The juice will ferment and be aged in Burgundy barrels of 5 wines.

Tasting: Subtle aromas of flowers and citrus during fermentation, a delicately pink hue, for a terribly saline and mineral palate and a bewildering wine. Neither white nor rosé, just beautifully blended.

Age of the vines: from 1963 to 2011

Production: 1500 Bottles/year.
