Grille Midi emphasizes power: it is the cuvée full of sunshine, derived from very vieilles vignes ideally situated on pink granite, with aging in 600-liter demi-muids for 1 year. In short, this cuvée is the nec plus ultra of the domaine, crafted by Pauline Passot, with a 2023 vintage of perfect balance, already enjoyable upon its release in 2026, but which will wonderfully refine over the next 5 years. At least.

Guide RVF des Meilleurs Vins de France 2026 (August 2025): 91/100. Grille-Midi is dense, muscular, and will age gracefully.
The Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (K. Wells, March 2025): 90+/100. With a charming nose of crushed petals, candied blackberries and cherries, the 2023 Chiroubles Grille Midi is full-bodied, with chalky tannins that lend it significant structure. It's broad on the attack but, as the tension from the salinity and tannins takes hold, the wine thins out and narrows into a focused finish. A few years in bottle will do this wine some good.. DRINK DATE 2026-2032.

Pauline Passot was a sommelier in one of the largest restaurants in Lyon... then she fell for a return to her family roots. Today, with her exceptional terroirs, she outrageously dominates her AOP and captivates us as much with her talent as with her dynamism. A huge future for La Grosse Pierre (it reminds one of Basque strength competitions ;-) and the entire appellation she is elevating... by the rope! Here is a very specific plot that already has its aficionados.
