RVF Guide to the Best Wines of France 2024 (Sept. 2023). 91/100. The Chablis is a beautiful introduction with aromas leading us to iodine, citrus notes, and shellfish.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (William Kelley, July 2022): 87/100. Aromas of white flowers, orange zest, oyster liquor, and exotic top notes preface the 2021 Chablis Village, a medium to full-bodied, satiny wine built around an assertive spine of acidity, concluding with a somewhat mordant finish. Drink date 2023-2032.

This Chablis comes from plots located on both banks of the village of Chablis. A part of the cuvée is composed of a plot located in the lieu-dit Les Pargues, a very mineral and incisive terroir.

The other part consists of a plot located in the lieu-dit Les Cartes, a terroir facing the Premier Cru Les Vaillons. This terroir is very rich in ostrea virgula, with a white, stony soil.

Age of the vines: 35 to 50 years

Yield: 45 hl/ha

Vinification: Pneumatic pressing - Cold settling - Alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks - Malolactic fermentation - Aging on fine lees

Grape variety: 100% chardonnay
