Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (William Kelley, Jan. 2025): 91-93/100. The 2023 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru is suave and succulent, bursting with aromas of smoky berries, cinnamon, orange zest, and petals. Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, it's succulent and melting, with soft tannins and a perfumed finish.

THE CLIMATE
The Charmes Chambertin are situated on limestone outcrops covered with thin rendzina soils. There are many marl and iron stones found here. A thin soil of about 25 cm has some iron nuggets on its surface. This appellation is separated from Chambertin by the road of the grands crus and is distinguished from the Mazoyères located lower on the slope, which have the possibility of being called Charmes-Chambertin.

THE PARCEL
The parcels of the domaine are exclusively located in Charmes Chambertin and in their highest part. These parcels benefit, through their unity, from a faithful representation of this climate.

CHARACTER
A wine with accents of wild strawberries, intertwined with vanilla spices. It combines structure and creaminess. It is an elegant and suave wine. A guarantee of concentrated and mellow eternity, everything about it is syrup, elegance, harmony.
