A wine of character. The granitic terroir and barrel aging give this cuvée a full-bodied taste with ripe fruits. The elegant and silky tannins evolve towards a finish with smoky, spicy, and animal notes.

Grape variety: Pinot Noir

Terroir: Plot selection, locality "La Prugne" in Cesset, granitic soils.

Aging: 12 months in oak barrels from Allier followed by 12 months in bottle.

Aging potential: 5 to 10 years

Food and wine pairings: A gastronomic wine that pairs perfectly with a stew, a seven-hour leg of lamb, or a veal stew.
