Favorite and 95/100 RVF. Boda = Marriage in Spanish. From two very beautiful complementary terroirs, this cuvée is the blend (not destemmed) of syrahs planted in the north with mourvèdres. Cuvée for aging produced in very limited quantities, a victim of its success and now offered in limited allocations starting from the 2018 vintage :-(

RVF Guide to the Best Wines of France 2025 (sept 2024): Favorite and 95/100. La Boda 2021, a blend of two terroirs from Cocalières and Aupilhac, has a floral note, behind its roasted grain and a velvety texture. An already impressive wine in precision, very elegant despite its density.

Technical sheet written by the domaine:

Grapes: Syrah 45%, Mourvèdre 45% and 10% Carignan.

Soil: Blend of two terroirs: Aupilhac, clay-limestone hillside terraces. Scree on blue marls. Cocalières, volcanic amphitheater on limestone bedrock.

Vinification: Maceration and vinification in conical cask.

Aging: In barrels of 400 to 600 liters for 30 months.

Tasting: A powerful wine with intense spice aromas that retains the freshness of the Cocalières terroir and the strength of Aupilhac.
