Description

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (Stephan Reinhardt, mars 2023) : 96+/100. The 2019 Riesling Grand Cru Sommerberg Dudenstein has an intense lemon color and opens with a deep, intense and granitic, highly complex bouquet of perfectly ripe and lush lemon fruits with iodine notes. On the palate, this is an elegant, rather classic, very salty, crystalline and terroir-driven Riesling that is compact and still edgy but also rich and shows a very long, intense and powerful, endlessly saline finish. This is another long-distance runner that will benefit from further bottle age. 13.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in April 2022. Drink date 2030-2055.
