The cuvée flagship of this highly regarded winemaker in Saint-Joseph. A nice quality-price ratio, vinified so that it is not "criminal" to taste it young, but also very good after a few years of aging. Especially in this very classic vintage 2022, released from the winemaker's cellars in June 2024.

Our comment: This cuvée was named as such because it was initially vinified by Christophe Curtat in cellars lent by friends who are winemakers (and not just any winemakers!), while waiting to have the means to acquire his own facilities.
Those years are far behind now as recognition smiles upon this passionate individual, who maintains reasonable prices considering the investments made each year to vinify better wines with each new vintage (without skimping on barrels, as many other less scrupulous winemakers do).
