Domaine Christophe Curtat Saint-Joseph "Nomade" red 2022 (3 bottles)

The flagship cuvée of this highly regarded winemaker in Saint-Joseph. Nice value for money, vinified so that it is not "criminal" to enjoy it young, but also very good after a few years of aging. Especially in this very classic 2022 vintage, released from the winemaker's cellars in June 2024.

Domaine Christophe Curtat Saint-Joseph "Nomade" 2022

Our comment: This cuvée was named this way because it was initially vinified by Christophe Curtat in cellars lent by friends who are winemakers (and not just any friends!), while waiting to have the means to afford his own facilities.
Those years are far behind now that recognition smiles on this passionate winemaker, who maintains reasonable prices considering the investments made each year to vinify better wines with each new vintage (without skimping on barrels, as many other unscrupulous winemakers do).
