Domaine Christophe Curtat Saint-Joseph "Nomade" red 2021 JEROBOAM

The cuvée flagship of this rising winemaker in Saint-Joseph. Nice value for money, crafted so that it is not "criminal" to enjoy it young, but sumptuous after a few years of aging, at least about fifteen in this jéro!

Domaine Christophe Curtat Saint-Joseph "Nomade" 2021 JEROBOAM red wine

Our comment: This cuvée was named as such because it was initially vinified by Christophe Curtat in cellars lent by friends who are winemakers (and not just any winemakers!), while waiting to have the means to acquire his own facilities.
Those years are far behind now as recognition smiles upon this passionate individual, who maintains reasonable prices considering the investments made each year to produce better wines with each new vintage (without skimping on barrels, as many other unscrupulous winemakers do).
