The Saint-Joseph that everyone dreams of: a young winemaker full of talent who has nothing to envy from the best in the region, a growing reputation among a select circle of discerning enthusiasts. This cuvée of prestige (born with the 2016 vintage), a clever blend of the best barrels, is set to become essential like its now "little sister": La Sybarite.Beware, these rich 2022s are still very (too much for our taste) young in 2024, the date of their release from the winemaker's cellars. They will be magnificent, but later :-)

Winemaker's comment: For this cuvée, I aimed to combine finesse and elegance. Zélée is a wine for aging with fine and elegant tannins.


Technical sheet written by the domaine:

Grape variety: Syrah

Blend: 100% syrah from several plots of old vines, around thirty years old, across 3 municipalities: Ardoix, Charnas, Limony. They are located on granite soils, facing south/southeast.

Aging: For this year, there are 90% new barrels. "It just happens like that this year, but it could change from year to year" says the winemaker.
