RVF Guide to the Best Wines of France 2022 (Sept. 2021): 95/100. Le Petit Chemarin goes further in defining the saline and limestone character of Sauvignon. An outstanding wine that is already so enticing and at the same time crafted for long aging.

Age of the vines : Planted in 1968
Organic approach : no herbicides, insecticides, acaricides, anti-rot agents, etc.
Yields : 45 hl/ha (de-budding, green harvesting).
Manual harvesting with an initial sorting of the grapes.
Vinification and aging : aging in 4 barrels including 1 new and stainless steel tank.
