Wells, mai 2024), 94+/100. The 2022 Morgon Côte du Py Javernières Aux Pierres is enchanting with a complex nose of ripe blackberries, dark plums, blood orange, anise, wet stones, white musk and vine smoke. Medium to full-bodied and with a succulent weave of fruit, the wine is suave, multi-layered and generously upheld by a velvety layer of tannins. The bright acidity paired with the lining of marine-tinged salinity creates a refreshing contrast with the darker notes, and the wine lasts long overall, gracefully concluding with a slow fade of flavor. This is a noble expression of terroir, complex, luscious, balanced, truly captivating. DRINK DATE 2025-2040.
