From vines perched at the edge of Fleurie, the 2023 Morgon Château Gaillard presents stewed cranberries and black cherries, underscored by a pronounced spiciness. On the palate, medium to full-bodied fruit is enlivened by tangy acidity, lending brightness to the rich, voluminous profile. The wine maintains a poised equilibrium, anchored by a condensed core of tannins that guide a focused progression. This is dynamic and thoroughly delicious. DRINK DATE 2025-2034.
