RVF Guide to the Best Wines of France 2026 (Sept. 2025): 90/100. The red is both full and sharp. Its nose is "wild" dominated by fresh leather, but with a dense, lively mouthfeel, surprisingly fresh in the context of the vintage.

The composition of the traditional red reflects the vintage, the blend varying according to weather conditions. Aged for 18 months, this wine spends about fifteen months in French oak barrels. We do not use new wood, preferring oxygenation during barrel aging. After a few months of cellar storage, this wine matures very quickly, its tannins soften, its roundness is expressed. It will be served at room temperature, with your white or red meat dishes, preferably grilled. If you want to drink it right away, we recommend decanting it to better open it up. It will keep for 10 years.

Composition: 40% Tannat, 40% Cabernet Franc, and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon on limestone

Yield: 30 hl/ha on average

Vinification and aging: on lees for 18 months alternating between stainless steel tanks and barrels (16 months)
