The 2017 Nuits-Saint-Georges Village displays a somewhat high-toned bouquet of cedary red and black fruits and dark chocolate, followed by a medium to full-bodied palate with velvety structuring tannins and a tangy core of fruit. Blend : It consists of a blend of 7 climates ("Les plateaux", "Les Crots", "Les Belles Croix", "Les Fleurières", "Les Brulées" and "Les Chaillots") covering an area of 3 hectares. The majority of these plots are located south of Nuits-Saint-Georges, on the lower slopes, on deep soils, a mix of clay, alluvium, and limestone pebbles. Only "Les Crots", a 1-hectare plot, is situated at the top of the slope on thin brown limestone soils.
