Description


Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (Jeb Dunnuck, Avril 2015): 91/100. Possessing additional richness and depth over the Calcinaires release, the 2013 Vieilles Vignes Blanc is dominated by Macabeu and Grenache Blanc, yet incorporates a touch of Chardonnay. Aged in foudre and concrete tank, it has a deeper gold color to go with smoking aromas and flavors of Meyer lemons, citrus, crushed rock and pineapple. Medium-bodied, with lots of minerality, it has juicy acidity, building richness and a balanced, lengthy profile that should allow it to shine for 3-4 years, probably even beyond that.
