Gosset ranked the 8th best Champagne house (ahead of Billecart-Salmon 9th, Deutz 12th, Ruinart 18th, Taittinger 19th, Moët & Chandon 22nd, Laurent-Perrier, Veuve Clicquot, Mumm, Pommery, etc. The top trio being Krug-Roederer-Jacquesson) by RVF (n°686) in 2024.

RVF Guide to the Best Wines of France 2020 (Aug. 2019): heart-stopping ♥ and 16.5/20. The style of the house's wines is well embodied by the brut Grande Réserve with its pronounced vinosity. The wine is intense, yet also tense on the finish. It will not fear a few years of aging.

Bettane and Desseauve Guide: 16/20. Fruit and floral notes, fullness and volume, in short, an impeccable, intense, and vinous brut.

Hachette Wine Guide 2020: 3*/3 (Exceptional Wine) and heart-stopping ♥. This cuvée has garnered unanimous praise, and this is not the first time. Built on the 2013 harvest, it displays a pale gold color with fine, persistent bubbles. Discreet on the nose, it reveals subtle aromas: wheat, white bread, butter and brioche, mandarin, and other citrus fruits. Its mousse provides a creamy and silky texture on the palate that builds in intensity, offering an exceptionally long finish. Elegant, smooth, and full, a champagne that is all finesse without lacking substance.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (William Kelley, Sept. 2021): 92/100. Aromas of crisp orchard fruit, pear and apricot, mingled with hints of fresh bread and pastry, introduce the latest release of Gosset's NV Brut Grande Réserve, a medium to full-bodied, fleshy but incisive wine that's deceptively generous but also structured to reward some bottle age.
