PAUL GARCIN - CHÂTEAU HAUT-BERGEY - PESSAC-LÉOGNAN

A prestigious AOP is not enough for him! At Château Haut-Bergey, Paul Garcin is the first winemaker in Pessac-Léognan to be entirely organic and biodynamic (AB, Demeter and Biodyvin labels). The estate goes even further in adapting its vintages to the more ‘modern’ tastes of young wine tasters. Using selected parcels, Paul Garcin offers original vinifications to produce very specific wines that still bear one of Bordeaux's greatest appellations, such as Haut-Brion or Smith Haut Lafitte: Pessac-Léognan. The reds are mainly made from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The whites are based on Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon. The wines have considerable ageing potential, particularly the very young ‘Tuileries rouge’. The ‘Paul’ vintages, on the other hand, are vinified for drinking within 2 to 5 years. We fell in love with this very fashionable Bordeaux estate and highly recommend it for the festive season!

Our “ Mixed Boxes ” category presents 3 or 6 ready-to-drink wines, all different, around the same thematic. An excellent opportunity to discover a region, a grape variety, a winemaker, a particular style, etc. We've carefully prepared them for “immediate pleasure” tasting. There's no need to keep them in the cellar for many years - they're all ready to enjoy, but you can of course keep them in the cellar for further refinement if you prefer!
