Roc d'Anglade, among the best estates in Languedoc.

Roc d'Anglade
Roc d'Anglade estate was taken over a decade ago by Remy Pedreno, a passionate winemaker who worked with Rene Rostaing (in Cote Rotie).

The 10 hectares of vines are planted on clay-siliceous soils of calcareous marls. Exposed full north, they give to the wines of Roc d'Anglade a great freshness, in the purest respect of the fruit. Production is extremely limited. Roc d'Anglade follow the rules of organic farming and its wines are certified.

Like many wines of the region, the appellation (IGP Pays du Gard) is only minor. The winemaker is thus free to do what he wants without real constraints. It is mainly the terroir and character of the winemaker that is transmitted to the red, rose and white wines of the estate, which is one of the most famous in Languedoc: extreme finesse, a lot of freshness, an immense personality.
